The processes for creating most of your favorite spirits are all very similar. If you’re a fan of the darker spirits–whiskey, bourbon, Scotch–the flavor and color comes from the barrel the product ages in once it’s been created. The Whiskey Echo Tango (W.E.T.) Decanter lets you modify and upgrade your spirits with your own unique flavor combinations using a patented infusion system. For the record, this isn’t the first infusion decanter we’ve seen, but it is most definitely one of the most well-built and attractive. This decanter blends old-world feel with sleek and modern minimalism with its combination of a wooden body, stainless trim and internal glass sleeve. Using the decanter to infuse your vodka, rum or whiskey is as simple as unscrewing the bottom, adding the custom oak spheres and/or other herbs/spices, closing it, adding your spirit into the top and waiting. Depending and what spirit you’re infusing and your desired end product, you’ll wait a few hours to a day for the final product. Honestly, tasting it every few hours to find the perfect end result is the best part.
