Everyone knows the best part about shopping at Whole Foods, in Chicago anyway, is the fact you can have a brew while you’re walking around picking up fresh Alaskan salmon, soy milk and other beer to take home. Target is taking a page out of their book because the company just applied for two liquor licenses (Package Goods and Consumption on Premises) for their upcoming store in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago. Depending on the success of the project, assuming the licenses are approved, we could even see the day where you can get a growler filled with something delicious at everyone’s favorite big box store–while shopping for toilet paper, toothpaste and Advil.
