Stay Home: Amazon’s Highest Rated Instant Pot

Since we’re all stuck inside, we decided to do some digging to find useful products to help stay productive, occupied, entertained and fit while you Stay Home.

In all honesty, we were just as dubious as you about the need for an Instant Pot pressure cooker when we already have a Crock Pot, Rice Cooker and plenty of durable pots and pans. But then we bought one and cooked a full rack of ribs with little more than a bit of water and apple cider vinegar from throw-through-a-window frozen to fall-off-the-bone in less than an hour. In all honesty, they took a total of about forty minutes with the required pressure release cool down–so you don’t turn your kitchen in to a bomb–but they didn’t need barbecue sauce and were just as good, if not better, than anything we’ve ever paid for at a Ribfest. Since then, we’ve cooked roasts, beans for chili, rice, soups, chicken and even yogurt (seriously!) in this magical machine that takes up as much space as a drip coffee maker and requires about as much effort to make one of the best meals you’ve ever had. There’s definitely a learning curve when it comes to cooking with any pressure cooker, but it’s more than worth it because the miracle of science will leave you with some of the best meals you’ve ever had.
