Snow Peak Sake

Snow Peak Sake
With a collection that includes everything from outdoor pizza ovens and titanium cutlery to storage containers and axes, it’s safe to say that Snow Peak has everything you need for an outdoor adventure or a cabin getaway. Now Snow Peak is making sake for outdoor consumption. As reported by WWD Japan, Snow Peaks’ sake will be produced in collaboration with Kubota, an offshoot of the Asahi Shuzo brewery. The new sake, dubbed “Yuhiko Kubota,” has been described with a taste that is wild, strong and perfectly suited for outdoor cuisine. While it certainly sounds like a fantastically delicious release from the two brands, we’re just as excited about being able to display the black-on-black-on-black bottle in the liquor cabinet at home. The not-so-limited release will see close to 50,000 bottles hitting store shelves at Snow Peak and liquor stores in Japan on September 21. Pricing details have not yet been released.
