Looking for a new sudsy beverage to enjoy after a hard day of work? Patagonia Provisions brewed a beer with Hopworks Urban Brewery that is as delicious as it is sustainable. Long Root Ale is the first beer to be made with the relatively new perennial grain Kernza that’s grown using regenerative agricultural practices. This pale ale is brewed with organic two-row barley; organic yeast; organic Chinook, Mosaic, and Crystal hops; and Kernza. In other words, it’s produced as organically, sustainably and with as much attention to detail as everything else that comes from Patagonia, Patagonia Provisions, and Hopworks Urban Brewery. 16oz four packs are currently available at select West Coast Whole Foods, the two Portland Hopworks locations and a few spots.
