Whether it’s Gentleman, Single Barrel, Old No. 7, or one of the flavors, most of you reading this have a relationship with Jack Daniel’s. But none of those whiskeys are anything like this Jack Daniel’s 150th Anniversary Whiskey. Released to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, this whiskey is made in barrels that been “slow-toasted” by coopers to create a completely unique Tennessee Whiskey drinking experience. It uses the same grain bill as Old No. 7 (80% corn, 12% barley, 8% rye) before being barreled and bottled at 100 proof, so it has an all together different taste with notes of butterscotch and toffee, while still having a familiar full-bodied finish.
