These days, it seems like every celebrity or band from Metallica to Slipknot is involved in some sort of whiskey production endeavor. We won’t knock their desires to diversify their income streams–and for the record, both of those options are actually surprisingly tasty–but there haven’t been many celebrity booze collaborations that deliver like Bob Dylan’s Heaven’s Door Whiskey. The latest release from Heaven’s Door is “The Bootleg Series,” the first expression from the brand that’s named after Dylan’s famous “Bootleg Series” of albums. This release sees the combination of an incredible 26 year old whiskey that’s been finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak barrels. It’s a low rye mashbill spirit with 55.7% ABV that comes in at 111.5 proof and is available for a limited time in a ceramic bottle with Dylan’s Train Tracks artwork and a collectible, individually numbered leather journal. You can probably find Heaven’s Door “The Bootleg Series” whiskey for cheaper locally, but if you’re not interested in hunting, or you just want it now, it’s available now on ReserveBar through the link below.
