Court Street Grocers Made a Soda That Pairs Perfectly With Pastrami

Court Street Grocers Made a Soda That Pairs Perfectly With Pastrami

One of New York’s favorite sandwich shops, Court Street Grocers, is bottling classic sodas made the way they used to be. Made with extracts, sodium and spices, each of the new sodas is designed to be as good for drinking as it is for cocktails and cooking. We’re all for the classic cola, club soda, spicy ginger ale and a riff on Mountain Dew that are part of the line, but what really piqued our interest in the new Court Street Grocers sodas is the Celery Soda. If you’ve never experienced a pastrami sandwich with a can of the classic Cel-Ray that the CSG Celery Soda is inspired by, it’s an experience you must tackle immediately. Unlike Cel-Ray, this Celery Soda is more herbal and less sweet, which means it’s just going to pair with deli meat even better while also being useful for cocktails. Each of the new sodas will be available at the Court Street Grocers locations in New York soon with plans for distribution in the future if all goes well.
