At Home: Spice Things Up with Trader Joe’s “Everything but the Elote” Seasoning Blend

Since many of us are still home, we decided to do some digging to find useful products to help stay productive, occupied, entertained and fit while you’re At Home.

If we were to get cornered and forced to choose our favorite street food, it would probably be elotes because there’s just something about that Mexican street food concoction of corn on the cob, spices, butters and cheeses that checks all the boxes. If you want to create that Elote magic while doing just a little bit less work, that’s where the Trader Joe’s “Everything but the Elote” Seasoning Blend comes in. You still have to provide the corn, butter and mayo, but once you jump through those hoops, all you have to do is slather the end product in this seasoning blend to get damn near perfect elotes. This seasoning is made with a mix of salt, chili pepper, cheese, chipotle and cumin, so it’s also good on roasted veggies, meats, chicken and, well, everything else, but it really shines as part of an elote combination when you’re trying to blow people away.
