If there’s one thing we learned from this past weekend’s Made in America Festival, it’s that the American flag bikini industry is alive and well. As Big 5 coeds packed the Art Museum District of Philadelphia to hear the likes of Kanye, Pharrell, and The National, we braved the sweaty red, white, and blue clad masses to take you up close to the action. The two-day end of summer bash was highlighted by a rain-soaked performance from Spoon, the return of Kings of Leon after Nathan Followill and his broken ribs caused the band to cancel weeks of performances, and Kanye being Kanye as he performed ‘Blood on the Leaves’ four times and went on a bit of a mid-set rant.
