Mob boss, crime lord, prohibition bootlegger, and generally brutal Chicago underworld icon Alpohnse ‘Al’ Capone rose to fame in Chicago in the 1920s and ’30s. The latest film about his life is carried out by morphing Tom Hardy, who portrays Capone in his waning years after being released from prison for tax evasion. The film covers Capone’s descent into dementia that has him confusing his past with his present, as well as struggling to remember where he hid much of his fortune. From the looks of the trailer, Hardy has once again immersed himself into the character, and we can’t wait to see this Josh Trank-directed film when it hits video streaming rental on May 12th.
