I’ll save you the squinting. It’s the flower vase on the left.
Or at least, what looks like a flower vase. It’s called the Mantelpiece, and yes. It’s a bong. A fully functional, genuinely beautiful, no-one-would-ever-know kind of bong.
Weed is pretty mainstream at this point, but the accessories? Still stuck in dorm room mode. Most bongs aren’t exactly something I want on display. That’s where Mantelpiece comes in. I got mine a few weeks ago and now it lives on my desk, tucked among design books and objects like it was always meant to be there. People comment on how nice it is. Nobody guesses what it really is.

But here’s what surprised me most: it hits really well. I figured something this pretty might be more about form than function, but it’s smooth, intuitive, and easy to clean. It doesn’t feel delicate or fussy. It just works.
