The Google Nest smarthome thermostat has become a fixture in many homes with its ability to manage indoor climate like a champ. It’s been recently redesigned to look less like a metallic hockey puck in order to stand out less and meld better with home decor. What’s more, the rotating wheel control has been replaced by touch controls. It continues its high level of convenience, as well, with Quick Schedule for easy custom temps for certain times/days, motion-sensing tech that knows when you leave the house and can conserve energy, Google Assistant for voice control, and remote adjustability via the Google Home app. It’s available now for pre-order.
