TERA, their cone-shaped house and habitat, was built from the same 3D printing technology and compostable materials they designed for longterm, sustainable life on Mars. Essentially, they’re using people’s stays in their crazy, futuristic space capsule house two hours outside of NYC to help research what’s needed for humans to live on Mars and also emphasize the need for renewable technologies to save planet Earth.
