Matchbox CarbonNeutral Tesla Roadster

Matchbox CarbonNeutral Tesla Roadster

Environmental consciousness has descended to the diminutive. Mattel, makers of Matchbox toy cars, has embarked on its Drive Toward a Better Future initiative. The first member of this effort is a CarbonNeutral Tesla Roadster made with 99% recycled materials, including recycled zinc for the body and recycled plastic for the windows, chassis, wheels, and interior. Even the packaging is made from recycled materials and bio-based potato for the inner tray. It actually qualifies as a certified CarbonNeutral product and will lead the way for the brand to carbon neutrality by 2025. The choice of the new Tesla Roadster as the kickoff model is certainly apropos.
