Frank Lloyd Wright is responsible for some of the most distinctive and interesting pieces of architecture ever created—which is why he’s widely considered one of the greatest American architects of all time. But what about all the Frank Lloyd Wright homes lost along the way? Enter Spanish architect David Romero. Romero decided to use his considerable talent for a series called “Hooked On the Past,” which combines his love of architectural history and computer generated images to recreate the unbuilt and/or demolished structures from Frank Lloyd Wright. From Pauson House and the Larkin Administration Building, to the Trinity Chapel, Romero recreated FLW’s designs and ideas in a way that allows us to experience the grandeur of the creations even though they never saw the light of day.
