We’ve seen quite a few interesting and far out interiors over the years, but nothing like what you’ll find at Cafe 연남동223-14 그림2D in Seoul, Korea. The interior of the appropriately named 2D Cafe is decked out in monochrome line art that makes it feel as if you’re a three-dimensional character in a two-dimensional world. This creates incredibly surreal pictures and an experience not unlike the one we had watching the film Loving Vincent that brought Van Gogh’s works to life (except in reverse). As you’ve probably already guessed, 2D line art decor rendered in monochrome makes everything from colorful clothing to food really pop, which makes this one of the most ‘grammed spots in the area. But it’s done so well that’s still worth the trip if you were already planning on visiting Seoul.
