An Improbable Future is one of those Instagram accounts that is always an easy recommendation for others to follow. Curated and created by a New York-based Industrial Designer, An Improbable Future is a collection of AI-generated images that depict technology and vehicles of an imagined future with clearly nostalgic twists. Watches that resemble Casios, communication devices that look a lot like Nokias. However, there’s some expertly designed wear and tear on these devices that give the whole collection of images a worn-in feeling, as if this future tech has already existed for decades. They wouldn’t feel out of place in a charming sci-fi graphic novel, video game, or movie.
