When we went hands-on with the VSSL Supplies outdoor gear in a tube, we never thought we’d find more utility than what was available in that package. The VSSL Mini Cache & Lantern might just prove us wrong. Slated for release later this month, the indestructible aluminum VSSL Mini Cache combines a portable LED lantern, compass and VSSL storage into one convenient piece of EDC. The three-mode LED “flood” beam lantern (2x static and SOS) is great for illuminating large areas. The carabiner end cap (yes, it easily clips to keys and bags) includes an oil filled compass. And on the inside of the black or silver finished cache you’ll find enough space to store three small VSSL tins or one large and one small tin.
