Bugged by the need to carry both a water bottle and a cup while camping, industrial designer Matty Martin decided to make The Pint a thing. The double-walled stainless bottle looks like a pretty standard canteen that’s capable of keeping beverages hot or cold, but The Pint has a removable bottom that changes everything. Once you take the bottom off you can attach it to the top to create a sweet-looking chalice that’s perfect for everything from your morning sludge to your evening brew. As we all know though, as soon as you start using the same container for coffee, beer and water the taste of everything goes to crap unless you clean it really well. Even in the middle of nowhere this isn’t an issue for The Pint because the bottom is removable. We’d go so far as to say that this might be the newest camping essential.
