We’re excited to introduce you to the 2017 version of Word. Notebook’s incredibly popular Standard Memorandum. As with previous versions, it’s inspired by pocket journals of the early 1900s and designed to chronicle one year of your life. Done in collaboration with designer and illustrator Jon Contino, the notebook is made in the USA and sized just like the iconic journals it’s based on. The Standard Memorandum project began four years ago, when Jon Contino discovered a box of old pocket diaries that belonged to his wife’s great-grandfather. Those journals, which were kept and passed down, painted a detailed picture about a man’s life. With the desire to start recording his life in the same way, Contino reached out to us to help create an interpretation of those classic journals. The Standard Memorandum is that journal. Snag one now so you’re ready to go after the ball drops.
