We could go on and on about the benefits of simplicity when it comes to design. We could even take a trip back and talk about the painstaking process of lost wax casting. But we’re not going to do either one of those things because this brass s-bend keyhook from Tender Co. speaks for itself. Designed to sit flush with your belt (put it on your belt before your thread your pants), the s-bend key hook was originally mocked up using coat hanger wire. Once they found the right specs, Tender’s people made a master pattern with hand tools, which then when through the whole lost wax process. The final version of the key hook is cast in England from solid brass. All you have to do is slip on your keys.

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
