Every man should own at least one baseball bat. They’re good for, well, actually playing baseball, but there’s a host of other things they do quite well too: home security, art, pushing doors closed when you don’t want to get out of your chair and we’re sure there are others we’re forgetting too. Huntington Base Ball Co’s Bats, hand made by Bill Rayburn of Kentucky, will probably never be used to hit anything, and that’s ok. Honestly, these things are so damn gorgeous that we’re not quite sure we’d ever want to do anything other than hold and caress them. Each bat is turned from professional quality northern ash and then finished by hand. Available in three models (corded grip, hand painting and longer length are just a few of the upgrades), each bat is just as much a ticket back to the earlier days of baseball as it is anything else.
