PyroVault Lighter Armor

We’re big fans of the iconic Zippo lighter. How could you not be, right? It’s a quintessentially American product that’s accompanied soldiers in combat and popped up routinely in pop culture over the years. That said, the Zippo isn’t perfect. That’s where the PyroVault Lighter Armor comes in. Designed to work with most Zippo-style inserts, including butane torch versions, the armor addresses a few of our issues with the legendary lighter. For starters, the casing and seal help to minimize fuel evaporation and serve as a barrier to water trying to seep in. On top of that, the heat-resistant reinforced polymer body makes your lighter less slippery, so using it in the great outdoors doesn’t turn into an Easter egg hunt for your fire starter. A spring loaded cap allows for one-handed operation and a low-profile MOLLE/PALS webbing clip means you can strap it to the rest of your gear when you escape to Mother Nature.
