We’ve long been impressed by Opinel’s stylish and functional pocket knives. The latest release from the French knifemakers is this gorgeous Arizona Ironwood Handle version of the classic Opinel No. 08 knife. Arizona Ironwood is a rare semi-fossilized wood that’s native to the Sonoran Desert in the Southwest United States. Paired with the matching copper-colored PVD coated stainless steel blade and this is one striking pocket knife. Like all of Opinel’s beautiful pocket knives, this version of the Opinel No. 8 is built to be durable and precise. Only 800 of this limited edition knife were made with 100 allotted for sale in the United States. Each edition of the Opinel No. 08 Arizona Ironwood Handle is numbered and comes in an oak wood gift box. Sales begin on Thursday, December 2nd for $170.
