Oceanus Brass Bosun’s Edge Knife

Oceanus Brass Bosun’s Edge Knife

If your EDC needs some serious knife variety, the nautically-themed Bosun’s Edge Knife should fit in perfectly. Both utilitarian and artful, the Bosun’s Edge is made from solid brass and uses a replaceable utility blade for perpetual sharpness on the cheap. Inspired by Bosuns (or Boatswains) on naval ships, who were responsible for rigging, sails, etc. and who always carried a blade, the Edge Knife adds a new level of style and practicality to the single-bladed nautical knife. The blade opening system uses a screw lock mechanism so it won’t accidentally deploy when you don’t want it to, and the entire knife in the open position is around four inches (if you include the nifty bow-shackle). The knife is on Kickstarter now and has already crushed its goal tenfold with a month and-a-half remaining.
