We like the idea of a 24/7 activity and sleep tracker keeping us honest about our workouts, heart rate and sleep (or lack thereof), but we’ve never been a huge fan of the packages they came in. Motiv Ring changes all that because, as the name implies, it’s a ring. The connected ring is available in a Rose Gold or Slate Gray finish and is built out of ultralight titanium. It weighs next to nothing, measures 8mm x 2.5mm, is waterproof up to 5ATM and has a battery that lasts up to 5 days. That’s all well and good, but what does it actually track? Active minutes and heart rate, calories burned, distance, activity types, steps, sleep duration and resting heart rate.
