Jolt Cola Is Back

Jolt Cola Is Back

Over the past few years, we’ve seen the return of a lot of great beverages we grew up with. You can add to the collection of Surge, Crystal Pepsi, and Clearly Canadian you’re hoarding in the event of a sellout or the apocalypse with another favorite—Jolt Cola. Yes, you read that correctly. The original American energy drink, Jolt Cola, is returning in September. Will it eventually return in the myriad of colored “flavors” it was available in originally? Will it come in larger screw top cans or glass bottles? Will it have absurdly ’80s marketing campaigns? Will there be gum available, too? Unfortunately, we don’t have answer to any of those questions. All we know is it’s coming back like the original with “all the sugar and twice the caffeine.” Looks like the future of hyper-caffeination for finals, late night work sessions and hangover recovery comes in the form of a sweet throwback.
