Glenglassaugh 46-Year-Old Single Malt

Glenglassaugh might not exactly be a household name, but the Scotch distillery has been a hidden gem among whisky enthusiasts for years. In fact, they were acquired by Brown-Forman, Jack Daniel’s parent company, after shutting down in 1986 and then resurrecting in 2009. Now, the coastal distillery of Sandend Bay is turning heads with the announcement of a nearly 50-year-old Scotch arriving on our shores next month. The Glenglassaugh 46-Year-Old Single Malt was distilled in 1975, was bottled at 41.7 percent ABV, it is non-chill filtered, and has no color added. It is being limited to just 215 hand-numbered bottles and will be released in May 2023 with an MSRP of $4,800.
