While we love Bulleit bourbon and rye for their unique bottle shape and their ability to blend well into any cocktail, the brand is not without it’s controversy. The brand had their fair share of bad dealings from what we gather, but they did do a little bit of good in the hiring of Eboni Major, the “1st Black Blender Employed at a Major Distillery.” They managed to fuck that up like everything else… but huzzah, success for the rest of us. Major landed at otherwise unheard of distillery Dread Master to drop “The Dread River Master Series by Eboni Major” limited release along with influencing the brands other offerings. The Dread River Master Series by Eboni Major is available now on their site for $115/bottle in select states, but given the hype, it won’t be available for long. Get a bottle of any of it while you can because all the “Major” options are going to be trading for stupid amounts on secondary in the very near future.
