Booze juggernauts Budweiser and Jim Beam have gotten together again, this time to create a limited-edition Black Lager in the most handsome of short bottles. The Reserve Black Lager combines the best of both worlds, smooth maltiness from the beer and rich flavors from the six-year bourbon barrel aging. There are also chocolate and coffee flavors to enhance the experience far beyond what Budweiser normally offers. The 7.1% ABV is a nice bump from the standard 5% in regular Budweiser, too. Get your hands on this for fall and winter since it’s only available through December, along with the return of two brands’ first collaboration, Budweiser Copper Lager. These are clearly the mature man’s Buds, and we look forward to tasting them.

Retro-Video-Game-Puzzle-IF2

We’ve long been obsessed with Things Organized Neatly, the Tumblr, Instagram account, and book that displays collections of items arranged in pleasing ways. It’s the reason we’re hard at work on this puzzle. When finished, the puzzle depicts a collection of retro video games and gaming systems aligned ever so perfectly. Each is made in the USA by the New York Puzzle Company and features original photography from artist Jim Golden. At 1000 pieces, it will put you to work for some time, but when you complete it you can use some puzzle glue and frame it on your wall. Out of chaos comes order, right?
