Weekly Style Finds

Sifting through menswear trends and labels is too much for the average guy. Why spend your day researching when you know 99% of the things you’d find you’d never wear? A better option: Weekly Style Finds. Each week we’ll bring you some of our favorite new items and interesting articles so you don’t have to go hunting for good-looking, well-made gear.

N.HOOLYWOOD x Converse Addict Suede Chuck Taylor High
N.HOOLYWOOD x Converse Addict Suede Chuck Taylor High

Buying shoes from Japan is easier said that done, but it’s worth investigating when the kicks look like these N.HOOLYWOOD x Converse Addict Suede Chuck Taylor Highs. What looks like a traditional Chuck high top has been completely murdered out with a full suede upper that sits atop a black rubber sole with minimal Converse badging on the tongue and heel. The only problem, of course, is the fact that they’re not available in the US.

Tanner Goods x 3sixteen x Pendleton Wool Overshirts
Tanner Goods x 3sixteen x Pendleton Wool Overshirts

Putting three menswear heavyweights like Tanner Goods, 3sixteen and Pendleton Woolen Mills in the same room for a single project is going to result in something great, but these Woodlands Wool Overshirts are even better than what we would have imagined. The fabric for the two shirts was hand-picked from Pendleton’s flannel weight wool selection and then turned into shirts in San Francisco in collaboration with 3sixteen.

Gitman Bros. Vintage Blue Sapphire Shirt
Gitman Bros. Vintage Blue Sapphire Shirt

We could go on for days about the laundry list of things we love about Gitman Bros, but the prints that come out of the Vintage collection are probably our favorites. When Gitman dusted off the old line books to create a modern interpretation of the past, they ended up with this, the Blue Sapphire Shirt. We’re not going to say this white shirt with overall vine style print that happens to be something else is good for the office (it’s not) but it might get some laughs in the warmer months.

Public Rec All Day Every Day Pant
Public Rec All Day Every Day Pant

Initially launched on Kickstarter last year, Public Rec’s All Day Every Day Pant is the modern man’s alternative to sweatpants. Ordered like a standard pair of pants with waist and inseam sizes in black, heather charcoal or navy, each pair features the normal elastic waistband and drawstring you’re used to, but they also have two back welt pockets.

Gustin Leather Jackets
Gustin Leather Jackets

Gustin, the guys that have been crowdfunding artisan quality American garments at awesome prices for years, just launched a collection of leather jackets with a silhouette and price tag that will make you forget summer is right around the corner. Each of the L1 jackets (there are five in total) is inspired by a classic shape from the ’30s that’s been stripped down and tailored to create a jacket that’s equal parts modern and historic. Oh yeah, and there are Horween options.
