Much has been written about fall.
Fitzgerald’s famous line: “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp.”
And Camus: “A second spring when every leaf is a flower.”
Austen called it “that season which has drawn from every poet worthy of being read some attempt at description.”
I like them all. But you can’t beat Austen. September tempts your creative side. To gulp in your surroundings and give into the urge to make sense of it all. It’s a time for familiar objects that comfort you. And new ones that confuse you.
