After countless years scouring the globe for truly unique timepieces, the founders of Watchismo created a watch brand of their own—Xeric. After two successful Kickstarters, Xeric is back with the Soloscope Automatic Watch, their boldest design to date. The Soloscope uses two concentric half circles and a single rotating hand to display both hours and minutes on the right hand side of the watch, while a smaller half circle on the left of the watch displays seconds. There are six different style options ranging from rose gold on black to gunmetal on brown, and each is made with PVD-coated 316L stainless, PTS S-05 twin balance movement, sapphire crystal and a genuine Horween leather strap. If you’re not in the market for an affordable, automatic watch, Xeric also has quartz options available, but then you don’t get to see the twin exposed balance wheels.
