Shoe marketing these days can be tiresome. Hyperbole is the norm, with manufacturer’s touting how some crazy new technology or material in their shoe supposedly gives you the ability to run faster, jump higher, steal home, count cards, buy low, sell high, etc. For us though, we’re more about simple style over gimmickry. The Wharf deck shoe is just a gum sole, a canvas upper, a rubber cap toe and some silver grommets. That’s it. You will run the same speed, jump the same distance, still suck at blackjack, etc. But at least you’ll be wearing a cool pair of sneakers while you do.
