The Timex Waterbury watch collection was originally released earlier this year to celebrate the 150+ years that Timex has been making awesome, durable, upgradeable and affordable watches. The Chronograph and Date models were both excellent in their own right, but Timex has taken the Waterbury collection one step further by collaborating with everyone’s favorite boot manufacturer, Red Wing. In collaborating with Red Wing Shoes, Timex has gotten access to a whole slew of premium, sophisticated leather that has been turned into the strap for two Waterbury Date models (38mm / 40mm) and a Waterbury Chronograph (42mm). In addition to the upgraded leather straps, each hole on the band has individual numeric inscriptions (presumably for sizing) to add an extra level of detail. The watches remain affordable—especially for the quality of the band—but they’re only available through Timex Japan right now.
