The gents behind The Hill-Side, Emil and Sandy Corsillo, have been releasing really cool products with awesome, unconventional fabrics for quite some time. Ties, scarves, belts, pocket squares and more, in crazy patterns that run the gamut from ocean style prints to unique camos. They just released a whole new line of low-top sneakers that are as well made as they are good-looking. Each of the six pairs of vulcanized low-tops is made from a different fabric (Indigo Chambray, Italian Camo Print, Hemp Denim, Cotton / Linen Zig Zag, Army Green Chino Twill and the “Big Crazy Floral Print” on duck canvas), but they’re all inspired by early American military and gym sneakers. They’re also all responsibly made in a 140-year-old factory in Japan and outfitted with a tongue detail made from the same The Hill-Side material their tags are made from. If you want a new pair of kicks for the Spring and Summer, start here.
