We’ve seen quite a few product testing videos that we thought were good, but testing a pair of shoelaces by having American strongman Matt Mills pull a 13,000 pound truck is probably the best. The Bluelace Project is based on a pair of high-density, triple braided, double-waxed, canvas, blue 51″ shoelaces with aluminum tips. Any pair of shoelaces strong enough to pull a truck are probably good enough for your Cons, but the whole idea of The Bluelace Project was also based on getting retailers to pay attention to the fact that we, as consumers, want more domestically produced products. We’re not going to get all preachy, but it’s kind of a big deal. Oh yeah, and you get cool shoelaces, too.
