Products that involve wood are fascinating. It doesn’t have to be a desk or a table, it can be a jump drive, or an ipod dock or even a piece of art. Wood grain is visually appealing to us because of its natural qualities and the fact you get lost in it. And while we’re on board with all the products we just mentioned, we’re not slipping into a pair of clogs when we want to get comfortable… or, well, ever. Wooden shoes suck, but that doesn’t make us want that grain affect for our shoes any less. Enter the Penguin Cork Flip Flop. Ok, ok, it’s not exactly wood grain, but it’s probably as close as we’ll ever get and still be comfortable. Soft, squishy flip-flops that can take a bit of a beating (there’s some rubber in addition to the cork) and still look good. Yeah, we said it. Flip flops that look good.
