Ever since it’s inception the Nike Improvise / Scavenge / Protect / Adapt line–aka ISPA–has been something we’ve been interested in because it takes high-performance footwear and elevates it to levels previously unheard of. The previously revealed Nike 2020 ISPA Collection was extraordinary, but even those releases can’t compare with the recently unveiled Nike ISPA Drifter Gator. The Nike ISPA Drifter Gator is a next level sneaker that includes Nike ZoomX foam and is similar to the VaporMax FK Gator, but this version is built with a parachute-esque deployable gaiter that wraps around the leg up til about the knee to create a near weightless, protective later that takes care of the elements like snow, dirt, and water. Once you get to your destination, the gaiter can be quickly packed up and zipped back into the shoe. The Nike ISPA Drifter Gator releases October 8 at Nike.com, SNKRS and select Nike retailers.
