Nike is not one to rest on their laurels, so they took the iconic Cortez and gave it a refresh for 2017. Introducing the Nike Cortez Flyknit. As the name suggests, Nike built the upper out of their ultra-comfortable Flyknit material. But while Nike brought it into the modern era with the sock-like material, they kept a bunch of subtle nods to the past. There’s the retro Swoosh, a restyled toecap, and side panels that holster the laces. It’s old meets new, and it’s sexy as hell.
