The ever popular Nike Roshe LD-1000 kicks have just been released in black and obsidian blue colorways with white accents. Obviously they look gorgeous, but there’s a lot more to these sneakers than meets the eye. Based on an iconic running shoe from the ’70s, the LD-1000 has been updated with quite a few modern features as part of a collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design. There are deep forefoot flex grooves for natural range of motion. There’s a full-length UI midsole for cushioning and comfort. Toeguard for enhanced durability. Ortholite sockliner for a snug, comfortable feel. They’re everything you want to see in an update of a classic sneaker, and now they’re also available in some classic colorways.
