Filson x Danner Combat Hiker Boots

Danner makes a number of different boots that we love. Filson makes, well, pretty much everything outerwear, and we love all of it. When those two brands team up on footwear like the Danner and Filson Grouse Boots it’s something that, you guessed it, we also love. The two Americana favorites are up to their collaborative shenanigans once again with the Filson x Danner Combat Hiker Boots you see here. On the surface, they’re just custom waterproof hiking boots built to conquer any terrain. But once you dive a little deeper into the leather uppers with protective-rubber rand, GORE-TEX lining, Vibram outsole and streamlined-eyelet lacing you get to the core of these custom versions of the boots formerly issues to U.S. troops for use all over the world. They’re purpose-built shit kickers that just so happen to look great with a pair of dark denim, and that’s why we love em.
