Converse just added another new set of options to the Chuck Modern collection that was inspired by the brand’s 108th anniversary. Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Modern Colors take your favorite high top and low top everyday sneakers and modernize them with new materials, construction and colorways. Like the Converse Chuck Modern Lux sneakers, these are built on a Phylon midsole / outsole for superior yet lightweight cushioning, but the upper is completely different. This time around, Nike / Converse is using a double-layered mesh upper for breathability and durability that adds another layer of dimension and depth to the iconic sneaker thanks to the five new colorways. Chuck Taylor Modern Lows are available in burgundy, navy and white, while the Modern Highs are available in olive and black. Each pair also has a slightly darker toecap and eyelets for that last little bit of contrast that truly makes these shoes pop.
