The latest pair of Converse by John Varvatos high tops a little less run-of-the-mill and a little bit more rock star. The contrast between the all leather black tops and white rubber toe cap and soles would be enough for a normal pair of Converse, but Varvatos kicks it up a notch with double concealed zippers on the sides. He seals the deal with leather cords instead of laces threaded through gunmetal closures. They won’t teach you power chords, but at least you can look the part.
