We don’t talk about pants that aren’t jeans all that often because most of them have suffer from the same design flaw–they’re not made for “real” guys. We like: biking to work, building things with our hands, eating cheeseburgers and drinking beer. Unis’ new Ford chinos are made with the same high-quality Italian cotton twill as the Gio pants that we liked the looks of, except the Fords are a more relaxed fit. They’re also slightly tapered in the legs so as to prevent giant baggy ankle folds about your kicks because of the 34″ inseam. The fit is true to size, the fly is button and the pocket lineup numbers at five (watch, front seams, back welts).
