It was only a matter of time until The North Face joined the likes of Patagonia and REI to start selling their used gear on the cheap. Much like Patagonia Worn Wear and REI Used Gear, the freshly minted The North Face Renewed shop features a collection of “refurbished clothing remade to explore,” as the brand describes it. All the products available go through a three-step process of professional cleaning, tuning up “to original badassery” (their words) and quality checking before landing in the TNF Renewed shop with a price tag that’s significantly cheaper than what you’ll find if you buy new. In addition to being able to pick up a refurbished hoodie for less than thirty bucks or a Jenison jacket for less than a hundo, you get to feel good about yourself because you’re helping keep stuff out of the landfill. Who wouldn’t want that?
