Taylor Stitch Custom Art Jacket Auction to Benefit Australian Wildfire Relief

What better way to help out Australia’s horrible wildfire crisis than to bid for and hopefully win a beautiful handmade corduroy art jacket as a wearable memento of your efforts? Taylor Stitch has commissioned three of their old-school chainstitch embroidery partners to create a singular interpretation of their ‘Responsibly Built for the Long Haul’ mantra using their 100% organic cotton corduroy Piston Jacket as the base garment. Versions from Crooked.8, Vines of The West, and Dixon Rand are now up for auction for the next few days, and all proceeds will go to benefit the New South Wales Rural Fire Service to fight the rampant wildfires plaguing the Land Down Under.

The California-based clothier’s heartstrings were plucked in empathy by the wildfires, and this is their signature way of lending a hand in characteristically Taylor Stitch style. Each version carries its own unique style that should start conversations wherever you go. And you can wear it in good conscience knowing your contribution will make a difference.
