Athletic wear brand Reigning Champ recently launched a limited-run collection of deadstock and factory second garments that were recycled into a new life. Inspired by Japanese repair processes, such as sashiko and kintsugi, Reigning Champ partnered with California surf brand Western Hydrodynamic Research to bring new life to these castaways. With embellishment and embroidery, this collection shows the potential of looking at a garment as a blank canvas to create something new for a long, and sustainable, second life.
