Dropping a solid $200+ on a hoodie is something we would only do immediately after the holidays. Now that we’ve collected some cash on returns and a few checks from relatives, we are somewhat open to the idea of making such a purchase. The fine folks over at Reigning Champ have teamed up again with Deus Ex Machina to handcraft this heavyweight fleece, zip-up hoodie over in Canada, and we’re quite interested. Obviously the first thing that stands out about it is the built-in, double knit balaclava, but the sweatshirt also sports double layer quilted elbow patches, black embroidered eyelet pit vents and thumb holes on the ribbed cuffs. It’s the hoodie that’s heavy-duty enough to deal with that wind while you ride or just the January chill.
